Free school meals to be extended to all primary pupils
The county says 9,000 more children will benefit from September.
Lakeshore County Council has confirmed it will fund free lunches for every primary school pupil from the next academic year.
No child should have to learn on an empty stomach.
Parents’ groups welcomed the move, saying it would ease pressure on families struggling with food costs.
