New waterfront tech hub promises 2,000 jobs by 2028
The redevelopment of the old dockyards will house start-ups, a university lab and affordable homes.
Developers unveiled final plans on Sunday for the Riverton Docks Innovation Quarter, a $400m project on the site of the former shipyard.
This is the biggest single investment in Riverton in a generation.
The scheme includes 600 homes, a third of them classed as affordable, and a public park along the waterfront.
