Film shot in Riverton premieres to standing ovation
The drama was filmed across the city over two summers using hundreds of local extras.
“The Long Water” received a five-minute standing ovation at its premiere at the Grand Theatre on Saturday night.
Riverton gave this film its soul.
The film’s director said the city’s river and old industrial buildings were “a character in their own right”.
